The US Consulate Dubai has a new visa system for Iranian visa applicants who reside in Iran. Since the US Consulate Dubai has limited interviewing capacity for Iranian visa applicants, appointments are not always readily available, although residents of Iran require a visa appointment. more »
The US Embassy Bucharest will implement a new visa application and visa appointment procedures on September 13, 2012. Applicants who wish to schedule an appointment between September 10 and September 20, 2012, should start the visa application process as soon as possible. The new Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program will be implemented on August 15, 2012. USCIS is now finalizing the process through which certain qualified individuals may request consideration of deferred action. The new DHS Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) policy will enable certain young people who came to the US as children, and who meet a set of other qualifications, to receive what is known as “deferred action” (relief from deportation) on a case-by-case basis. more »
